What Will Showbiz Be Like in 2023? A Peek Into Hollywood Ten Years From Now!

Can you imagine that there was once a time when 3D movies weren’t a thing, and no one knew what it was like to watch a film that almost looked like real life? The older generations are greatly impressed with the innovation that has come with time and how it has revolutionized entertainment. While everyone is thinking about 2022, future-thinking artists are already gearing up for what the entertainment industry has to offer a decade from now in 2032.

Artists and executives alike weigh in on what the world of entertainment would be like, and for Seth Rogan, movies will still be a thing. Experts suggest that TV Shows, video games, movies, and podcasts will most definitely be a thing, but they will not be in the same form as they are today. Just think about how people used to watch tv shows and movies back in the day; they relied on cable networks to provide them with all their entertainment. On the other hand, today, you have streaming platforms like Netflix and YouTube, which bring content from across the globe, and you can watch it wherever you want, whenever you want, and however you want.

That being said, it is evident that ten years can easily change things. So, the question is, what would be the future of entertainment?

1. Virtual Reality

Right off the bat, the entertainment industry will be affected by the increased use of AI and Virtual reality, which is slowly but surely making its way into the world of entertainment. There are so many video games that claim to give their clients an unforgettable and immersive experience through VR so it won’t take long for them to incorporate this technology into movies and tv shows, and soon, you’ll be enjoying your films with a VR headset.

2. Goodbye To The ‘Superstars’

According to the experts, there are going to be no superstars in the future. The new generation will choose the stars they want to see on their screen. Today, you see one artist come onto the scene, and a year later, you’ll see them being cast in every other project. Think Jennifer Lawrence after “Hunger Games” or Florence Pugh after “Midsommar.” That’s just how the entertainment industry works: Executives keep hiring the same artist to profit off of their popularity and star value. However, in the future, this will not be the case.

3. Theatres To Stay

While a lot might change in the entertainment industry, one thing is certain: movie theatres are going nowhere. Take the example of the COVID-19 Pandemic time: people were forced to stay in their homes where they enjoyed the company of streaming services like Netflix, HBO, Hulu, and Disney Plus. Despite all these resources, the post-pandemic era saw a revival of movie cinema, which confirmed the future of movie theaters and how they are bound to stay even in 2032.

So what do you think of these predictions for what the entertainment industry will look like in 2032?
